Keyboardist BIGYUKI steps out into the forefront in this stunning new video for his original tune, “Red Pill Blue Pill” off his latest release Greek Fire out digitally Oct. 23rd. Shot and mixed by the forward-thinking folks at HighBreedMusic, “Red Pill Blue Pill” is a close-up look during BIGYUKI’s recent performance at NYC’s Le Poisson Rouge. Rocking alongside him are Daru Jones on the set and guitarist Randy Runyon — both of whom share composition credits in “Red Pill Blue Pill.” Why is there no bass player you ask? Well, BIGYUKI is also one of the baddest key-bassists alive. His left-hand equals enough dexterity to provide the band with countless theories on the low end. Just like the title suggests, the song gives listeners two contrasting moods that proposes characteristics between choice and the fateful consequence that follows. As Morpheus said to Neo in the Matrix“This is your last chance. After this, there is no turning back. You take the blue pill — the story ends, you wake up in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red pill — you stay in Wonderland and I show you how deep the rabbit-hole goes.” Choose wisely they say.
