Sony recently announced the planned closure of one of their biggest CD manufacturing sites in South Jersey for this coming March. The consolidation of this sector of their company will continue in Indiana, but the closing of this particular location will result in the forced termination of over 300 employees at the location that opened more than 50 years ago, which once pressed vinyl for Columbia Records.
