Track Premiere: Marcus Machado – “I Can’t Lose” (feat. Jermaine Holmes)

Renowned guitarist Marcus Machado returns with “I Can’t Lose” – a track that hits hard with every crack of the snare, emotive guitar run, and the impassioned vocals of Jermaine Holmes. Machado’s famous guitar prowess shines through on countermelody, while audiences might recognize Holmes from his work in D’Angelo and the Vanguard.

“I Can’t Lose” is the first single off Machado’s upcoming album — the soundtrack to short film Blue Diamonds, directed by Patrick House. The film has already been selected for the 2018 Hip Hop Film Festival and the DC Black Film Festival, and features a full score composed by Machado.
