Who could ever step behind the booth behind Hollywood’s iconic Capitol Records where Nathaniel Adams Cole crooned out hit after hit? Luckily for us two-time Grammy Award-winning vocalist Gregory Porter has the same smooth velvety richness in that lower baritone range that Nat “King” Cole possessed. Add in lush arrangements on top of Porter’s million dollar vocals and it’s easy to see why the Blue Note Records artist is on track to bring home his third gold-plated gramophone.
