As mentioned previously, we really do wish everyone in every category wins an award — well maybe not everyone, but a majority of them. However, if there was one album in a category that should win based on a singular track it wold be Cécile McLorin Salvant‘s lighthearted cover of the late Aretha Franklin’s “One Step Ahead.” There will definitely be an Aretha tribute during the Grammy Awards, if Salvant isn’t singing this during it, then someone, somewhere made a grave mistake.
