The time is here! 2019 Winter Jazzfest Marathon Weekend is upon us, and the Revive Music Stage will not disappoint. Taking place across both nights of the 11th and 12th of January, this year’s headliners include recent Grammy-nominated artist, Chris Dave & The Drumhedz feat. a surprise guest plus a special performance by Georgia Anne Muldrow feat. with Justin Brown’s NYEUSI, Brandon Coleman and James Poyser of The Roots feat. Bilal and Renee Neufville.
Other featured performers include rising-star/ futuristic soul group, Jazze Belle, plus Blue Note Records artists, James Francies, and Marcus Strickland, vocalist/ flutist Melanie Charles, drummer Mike Mitchell aka Blaque Dynamite feat. an all female band and last, but not least, we’ll be honoring the legacy of the late Roy Hargrove with members of the Roy Hargrove Quintet, plus a special performance by James Poyser featuring Bilal, and Renee Neufville. We’ll also be joined by our fave, Casey Benjamin aka DJ Stutzmcgee, spinning between sets.
