The release of Gregory Porter’s Liquid Spirit on Blue Note Records this month has put into motion the common whirlwind tour of late night TV shows and cities near around the world, but what remains uncommon is the ability of Porter and his band to change the vibe in any room and with every performance, including their date on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno on 9/27/13.
